Principal's Desk

For many of us in Holy Cross, mission expresses itself in the education of youth in schools, colleges and universities. Teaching in the Holy Cross tradition is clearly a ministry of the Congregation. In our teaching and preaching, we confront the truth of the Gospel. Jesus our master, called his disciples to be fishers of men and to proclaim the Kingdom of God. Jesus taught with authority about God's Kingdom. He called the disciples to be with him, to bring liberty to the captives and to proclaim the good news to the poor. Fr. Moreau the founding father of Holy Cross wrote "We shall always place education side by side with instructions; the mind will not be cultivated at the expense of the heart".
